Just like summer weddings, winter weddings too call for special fabric and attire needs.
Here is a specially curated list of 8 wedding looks, you could try this winter, to keep you warm and make you look hot.

Velvet Suit

velvet suit

Velvet is my first choice for a winter wedding outfit as it not only gives you the much needed warmth but also gives a certain regal look and feel to your outfit.
A velvet suit with some heavy zardozi embroidery and a net dupatta could be the perfect outfit for a winter wedding.

Kashmiri tilla emroidered dupatta

Go chic this wedding season with a simple silk suit paired with a kashmiri tilla embroidered dupatta (preferably gold) to exude a classy winter wedding look.

Jacket on/ with saree

Another stylish option is to pair your saree with a jacket. Wear this jeacket over the saree or wear it over your blouse and then drape the saree over it to exhibit a fashion farward statement.

Velvet saree

A saree always amps up the grace of the wearer. And a velvet saree adds utmost grace to that. Remember Anushka Sharma looking resplendent in her red velvet saree worn by her for her engagement?! This is the most perfect outfit for a winter wedding and to state the obvious my most favourite too.

Kashmiri gold tilla embroidery saree

Tilla embroidery is a silver or a gold thread embroidery usually done on a kashmiri garment called Phira and now also dome on sarees and shawls. It ais the taste of royalty and looks elegant in every sense. Tilla embroidery saree is one of my favourite winter wedding attires from this list.

The shawl look

Make a subtle style statement by draping a shawl over a plain silk suit. Give a classy finish to your look by pairing it with a statement gold nacklace.

The classic silk saree with a twist

The classic look for any Indian wedding is a silk saree. But to make the saree a perfect winter wedding attire, you could team it up with a velvet blouse. Not only will it look chic but also keep you warm.

Jacket on suit

The best part about this is you can wear the jacket over a salwar suit or even a pant suit and put together a fusion look by pairing the same with some chunky jewellery. This is the most versatile look of the lot.
